Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-13

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations and responsibilities between “Owl Labs” (the “Company”) and users regarding the data & analytics software (SaaS) subscription service and KakaoTalk information chatbot service (the “Service”). The Service is an information tool that processes and analyzes publicly available quantitative data (PER, PBR, ROE, etc.); it is not individual investment advice or a buy/sell recommendation.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • User: a member or non-member who uses the Service under these Terms
  • Member: a person signed in via Kakao or Google OAuth
  • Stock subscription: FREE / PREMIUM / PRO access. PREMIUM and PRO are global products priced and billed in U.S. dollars (USD).
  • Career pass: Interview Owl (mock interview) products — Career PRO subscription (monthly/yearly) and the 7-day Sprint Pass (one-time, no auto-renewal).
  • Kakao bot pass: a domestic (KRW) recurring pass for the KakaoTalk chatbot
  • Content: all information the Company provides — stock picks, scores/grades, technical analysis, AI comments, etc.

Article 3 (Effect & amendment of Terms)

These Terms take effect upon posting on the Service. The Company may amend them within the bounds of applicable law and will give notice at least 7 days before the effective date. If a user does not expressly object, they are deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 4 (Membership)

  • Users register after identity verification via Kakao or Google OAuth.
  • The Service is available only to those aged 14 or older; minors must use it with a legal guardian's consent.
  • The Company may refuse or later terminate membership in cases such as identity theft, false information, or a history of violating these Terms.

Article 5 (Provision of the Service)

The Company provides the following:

  • Financial & technical analysis of KOSPI / KOSDAQ / NYSE / Nasdaq stocks
  • Value scores (0–100), A/B/C/D grades, and 5-strategy value-investing evaluation
  • Market info: global dashboard, guru 13F portfolios, economic calendar, etc.
  • Recommendation/analysis commands via the KakaoTalk chatbot and the AI voice assistant (Owl)
  • Trade journal, watchlist, portfolio tracking, Telegram alerts
  • Indices, FX, crypto and commodities info
  • Career (Interview Owl): AI mock interviews, custom interviews, job listings

Article 6 (Paid services & payment)

  • Stock subscriptions (PREMIUM, PRO) are paid subscriptions and are global products priced in USD and paid via PayPal.
  • The Career PRO subscription and Kakao bot pass are domestic products in KRW (VAT included), payable by Toss Payments (Korean cards) or PayPal (international).
  • The Career 7-day Sprint Pass is a one-time purchase with no auto-renewal and ends automatically when its 7-day term expires.
  • Payments are processed through payment providers (PG) designated by the Company, such as Toss Payments and PayPal; the Company does not directly store card numbers or payment-method details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically by default; users may cancel anytime on My Page.
  • Cancellation applies from the next billing cycle; refunds for already-paid periods follow the withdrawal rules below.

Article 7 (Withdrawal & refunds)

Refunds under this article follow Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Door-to-Door Sales Act (continuing transactions), and the Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards (internet information service). Refunds are paid within 3 business days of the request.

  1. Withdrawal (distance selling): you may withdraw within 7 days of payment for a full refund with no penalty.
  2. Mid-term cancellation after use (continuing transaction of 1 month+): you may cancel anytime; the refund is calculated as:
    Refund = amount paid − {(amount paid ÷ term × days used) + 10% of amount paid}
  3. Cancellation due to the Company's fault: the full remaining-period fee plus 10% is refunded.
  4. The Company does not unfairly restrict refunds via mandatory-use periods or similar.
  5. For discounted sign-ups, refunds are based on the amount actually paid (after discount).

※ Refund requests: contact@oneulstock.com or My Page → Subscription.

Article 8 (User obligations)

Users must not:

  • Use another person's account or payment information without authorization
  • Access abnormally using automated programs, crawlers or macros
  • Copy, redistribute or commercially use Service content without authorization
  • Infringe the rights or defame the Company or third parties
  • Use the Service to spread false information or manipulate prices

Article 9 (Suspension of the Service)

The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for force-majeure reasons such as system maintenance/replacement/failure, communication outages, or natural disasters, and is not liable for resulting damages absent intent or gross negligence.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

  • All information the Company provides is for investment reference, not a recommendation to buy/sell a specific security or investment advice.
  • The Company does not provide individualized investment advice (including discretionary management) tailored to each user's assets/situation; all content is general, objective information for the general public.
  • The Company does not place, execute or auto-trade securities orders. Actual trading is done by the user through their own brokerage account.
  • Auto-generated answers such as the AI assistant (“Owl”) are reference information that may contain errors; the responsibility for decisions rests with the user.
  • The user's investment decisions and any resulting gains/losses are entirely the user's responsibility.
  • The Company is not liable for damages from errors/delays in external data (SEC, DART, Yahoo Finance, Naver Finance, etc.).
  • See the Disclaimer for details.

Article 11 (Intellectual property)

Copyright and intellectual-property rights in the Service's content (scores, grades, comments, UI, code, etc.) belong to the Company. Users may not use it for profit or provide it to third parties without the Company's prior consent.

Article 12 (Disputes & jurisdiction)

Disputes arising from these Terms are resolved under the laws of the Republic of Korea, with the court having jurisdiction over the Company's head office as the agreed venue.
